Tangier


Tangier is a coastal city in Morocco. It seats on the Southern tip of the strait of Gilbratar - a water strait connecting Europe and Africa.

As a strategic location, Tangier is a blend of cultures with a long history of trade. It started out as a Phoenician trade port, then it was conquered by Arabs, after which Europeans colonization changed the landscape before Moroccan independence.


World cruises on the Mediterranean take a stop at Tangier’ port. Tangier is also a budding economy representing 21st century Morocco with fast rising companies.

Despite modernity, history is well preserved in Tangier. The city is believed to be a location of the mythical Herculean pillars said to guard the Mediterranean world.


In Tangier, tourists have scenic views; Grand Succo, the romantic gateway to the Medina; Tangier American Legation Museum, one  of is its kind in the world, Kasbah museum in the sultan’s palace.

Most importantly, Tangier is home to its mixed culture residents.
