Ikogosi warm springs

 

In Ikogosi, Ekiti state, Nigeria, tourists are drawn to visit. This is because from the same rock warm and cold springs flow out.

The warm and cold springs flow beside each other till they reach a meeting point. They maintain their temperature in a way yet understood by man.

From history 🤫, it’s said that the source of the Ikogosi springs started from a hunter. The hunter had two wives, one quiet, the other temperamental. They fought each other and their husband reprimanded them. After the reprimand, the temperamental wife became the warm spring and the quiet wife the cold spring.

Close to the site of the springs are resort facilities for tourists.
