Adam D'angelo



In 2005, Adam D'angelo was one of the top 24 finalists in an algorithm coding competition - This is one amidst other computing honors.


Born 14th August, 1984, Adam D'angelo is known as an American internet entrepreneur. He attended high school with Mark Zuckerberg and others. He graduated from California Institute of Technology in 2002.

 
In the earlier years of Facebook, he was the Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of engineering until 2008.

In 2009, Adam started Quora. Quora provides users an interactive platform where questions from various topics (you chose your field of interest) can be asked and answers are supplied by those who have them.


Since creation, Quora has grown to serve over 100 million users per month.


Adam was an advisor to and investor in Instagram before it was acquired by Facebook. He's part of the board of directors of Open AI.


Adam was listed as a runner up in an article for the "smartest people in technology."
