Lake Tahoe 🥳

Who doesn’t have eye for something beautiful....

But not just beautiful, Lake Tahoe is an hive of mineral resources and funny history. History of name disputes in which Mark Twain also played part 🤐

Lake Tahoe from the native translation means lake, the one who named it believes it means water in the high places. Geographically, it is in between mountains.

Located in the Sierra Nevada (a mountain range) in the borderline between California and Nevada, Lake Tahoe is the second deepest lake in the United States.

Lake Tahoe receives 23 tributaries and is drained by the Truckee River.

Aside the settlements around the Lake, it is also a major tourist attraction with snow and resorts. Sports, recreation,...find common place in the scenery. Lake Tahoe has highways that provide means of transport.

Apart from the flora of Lake Tahoe, it is located not far from Comstock Lode - a silver deposit. Also not far from path treaded by gold seekers of the 19th century.

Despite the snow, Lake Tahoe never freezes. Till date it has palatial homes built over two centuries ago in the surroundings.
