Namib desert

Africa is home to the oldest desert (challenged by Atacama), the Namib desert, meaning "vast place."
The desert stretches across the coast of three countries, Namibia, Angola and South Africa.

.
The sand dunes of Namib are exquisite, huge, high and blazing red. Being a desert, it has a very dry climate.

Namib is almost completely uninhabited by humans but houses small animal species most of which needs small of amount of water to survive, though "biggie" animals reside it's northern parts.

The interesting area in Namib is the national park, which is the largest in Africa having a wide range of mammals which fosters tourism.

A famous attraction in Namib is Sossusvlei, a salt and clay pan surrounded by high dunes.
Surprisingly, it possesses some native Flora of lichens and other "little" plants which survive the aridity by the morning fog rolls from the ocean.
The Namib is also a mining site for diamonds 😋, salt 😎 and tungsten.
