Tom and Jerry

Jerry has stolen Tom’s cake, Tom notices and chases him colliding with and toppling over the house’s materials till they get to the dog, sleeping peacefully. They both hang in the air so as not wake the dog 😂

And so there and over again, Tom and Jerry - the hapless cat and rascal mouse, journey in a circle of endless fights that create belly turning laughter.

The phrase “Tom and Jerry” came into popular speech from among cliques of young people in United Kingdom in 19th century. Prior to this it was first, the title of a movie - “Days and Nights of Jerry Hawthorne and his elegant friend Corinthian Tom.” 😅

Tom and Jerry became a cartoon series when American cartoonists Joseph Barbera and William Hanna created the short stories in 1940 which became a success.
